I enjoy artistic gore. I feel like it is a a particularly challenging form of art, as it is such a close and personal subject matter, and it's a little hard to think about. Everyone has meat and everyone has guts. The reason I like to draw it is because I like to explore how well I can depict that kind of imagery, and try to understand it as best as I can. One of my favorite things to do in art is see if I can make someone feel an IRL emotion just from looking at an image--my AP art portfolio explored how art can ellicit fear--and my goretober series heavily focuses on that too. I hope at least one of my drawings grosses you out. Just a note: Very very few of my pieces here referece any real-life gore images, and if they do, they are not at all replicas of them, or they are just referenced off of my own pictures. Most of my gore is referenced from my own mind, anotomical drawings from books, movie SFX/props, and pinterest art guides (lol). A very good (and ethial) gore artist to check out for some really good art and references is rabbits.foots on Instagram. They are endlessly impressive. Overall tho I do NOT support real life gore for shock value on social media sites and I also do NOT support sending shock images to friends via discord gif. That stuff isn't cool, or artistically valuable.
- About OC #1 -
OC #1, whos full name is Original Character Number 1, is the original OC I created for this series. They have straight, dark brown hair, light colored skin, and is usually found wearing something red. Something on their person is always a shade of red. Their pants tend to be just darker than their hair, and their shoes are black. They take on the role of the one who gets gored up. They are always the one who is being sliced and diced and cut up and sacrificed and beaten and thrown and murdered, this is the way it is. Occasionally they will try to get back at OC 2, who usually does it to them, but never to a very successfull level. They never seem to quite enjoy this violence as much as OC 2 does, and is often found relativly distressed at the situations they find themselves placed in. Don't be too worried about them, however, as they are, in fact, involved in all of this completely at their own volition! They are in on the game just as much as OC 2 is. They have a special and beautiful little bond.
- About OC #2 -
OC #2, (Orignal Character Number 2), is the second OC created for this series! If you look at the 2022 year goretober, you'll see that they first came to life after 4 days had already been completed. I realized that there was only so much that could just happen to a single person, so I just simply HAD to add a second one, who would be responsible for spicing up the game a bit more. OC 2 has poofy, aburn hair, with slightly darker-colored skin than OC 1. They wear a teal or blue colored top, some dark-yellow looking bottoms, and yellow footwear. Their role is to cause bodily injuries and harm to OC 1. They are most most most often the one to blame for any of the slicing, dicing, cutting, sacrificing, beating, throwing, and murdering that appears in the art. They take great pleasure in all of this, which makes them perfect for the role. When they are not doing something horrible and disgusting to OC 1, they can be found doing something horrible and disgusting to themselves. It's a perfect dynamic! Only a few times can they be seen sporting something other than a smile on their face, and if its not a smile, it's never distress. They are always pretty mad-chillin. You'll never see them without their closest comrade in the frame as well (except, that is, for 2024's "Self-Inflicted", for some strange reason).
This is a tale of two freaks.
OC #1 and OC#2.
Below are the chronicles of their fun!
